We are very pleased and honored to announce the appointment of the 2019 Corks & Forks Co-Chairs, Ms. Mary Grace Gray and Mr. Walter Aymen.
Mary Grace joined Interfin in 1999 as a member of the luxury condominium development team. She successfully opened high-rise luxury condominiums, as well as luxury boutique hotel, Hotel Granduca. During Mary Grace’s tenure, Hotel Granduca Houston was touted the #1 Luxury Boutique Hotel in Houston and named in the Gold List by Conde Nast. She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing/PR for Interfin and as Chief Brand Officer of Granduca Hotels.
Prior to joining Interfin, Mary Grace was affiliated with Four Seasons Hotels, Bulgari and other luxury brands and properties.
She is a proven leader in luxury hospitality and retail, as well as residential high-rise operations, marketing and development. Mary Grace is involved in numerous local charities and associations in Houston.
Walter was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Los Angeles. During his first 25 years as a Houstonian, he was a restaurant and club owner, and has dedicated the last 17 years to his Real Estate accomplishments. As one of Houston's top producers, Walter is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of business and real estate experience with an expertise in the luxury market. He is a Certified Negotiating Expert, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Christie’s International Luxury Specialist 2017 and KW Luxury Homes International. Walter has been very active in our community. He is a past Board Member of the Katy Chamber of Commerce and has served for 20 years in the Selective Service Board. He has also served for 8 years on the TCC College Board Executive Committee and he is an Honorary Board Member of the Universidad de Simon Bolivar, Mexico. In 1985 he also co-founded the End Hunger Loop. For many years, he has been involved in charity events through various restaurant entities including Elan, Ciao, Confetti, Boca del Rio, La Mer and Cent’anni. Walter currently manages Walter Aymen Properties, a boutique Real Estate group.
