The event honors all whose lives have been touched by cancer in a colorful show of support and solidarity. Participants are encouraged to incorporate all 30 cancer ribbon colors into their attire.
Crawlers will receive discounted food and beverages and free admission at participating Downtown Bryan businesses, access to the after-party, participation in games and activities, entry into a grand prize drawing, raffle ticket, t-shirt and koozie.
We hope to see you there!
“Crawlin’ for a Cure: 30 Shades of Brave” is presented by the Brazos County Cattle Baron’s Ball Committee in partnership with the Downtown Bryan Association. Funds raised through Crawlin’ for a Cure and Cattle Baron’s Ball helps continue the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer by funding groundbreaking research and supporting cancer patients by providing free information, resources, programs and services. More than 130 Brazos County residents have been recently referred to services provided by the American Cancer Society from three local hospitals due to a new cancer diagnosis or recurrence.
For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
