Please help the American Cancer Society finish the fight against cancer. Join us at Houston Corks and Forks on October 3, 2019 for a one-of-a-kind evening featuring a culinary competition among some of Houston's top chefs. Enjoy delicious food tastings paired with fine wines as you watch the chefs show-off their culinary skills. You will also enjoy live music, spectacular live and silent auctions, and much more!
The goal of the evening is to raise critical funds to support the American Cancer Society's continued mission to eliminate cancer as a major health concern. With your support, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.
The American Cancer Society is working to finish the fight against every cancer in every community. As the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the United States, more than $4 billion has been invested since 1946. Thanks in part to our contributions, more than 1.5 million lives have been saved in the US in the past two decades. Now, that is a reason to celebrate, so please join us!
We hope to see you there!
For more than 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
